Texthaven has a simple, elegant interface with the minimum of distractions. But, hidden just below the surface are a variety of features to help taking notes and aggregating information from the web or other sources easy.

- Select text in a note and rightclick to easily create a Markdown header. The header line will automatically sized to the text
- Copy a URL to the clipboard, select some text in the note and use the Make a web link option to create a link
- Add Markdown italics, bolding and strikeout formatting to selected text from the rightclick menu
- Drag text from a web page directly into the note. Or, drag text into the File list to create a new note with the selected text
- Create a wiki-style link to another note by selecting text, right clicking and choosing the Make selection a page link option
- Click the View button to toggle between Edit and View mode

- Texthaven will display various image formats, such as .bmp, .jpg and .png
- Drag an image from a web page into a note to make a local copy of the image and paste a Markdown link to the image in the note
- Drag the image into the File List to simply make a local copy
- You can also paste an image into a note or File List directly from the clipboard
- Capture a section of the screen with Windows Clipping Tool and paste the image directly into a note or File List

- Enter a file name into the Multibar and press enter to create a new note with that name
- Enter a name ending in .csv to create a new CSV file
- Use a single question mark to search for text in the open note or spreadsheet
- Question mark + D will search all the notes in the current folder
- Use three question marks to do a Google search directly in Texthaven
